Position
We’re looking for an Operations Associate to provides operational support to our internal teams, carriers, and partners. As an Operations Associate, you’ll be responsible for new account set-up for workers compensation policies, processing files timely, research and analysis of policy transactions to ensure up to date policy information within our management and billing systems. You’ll maintain knowledge of the services supported by AP Intego and ensure timely and accurate problem resolution to create an awesome client experience   

What you will work on day to day:

  • Be responsible for the initial set-up and ongoing maintenance (renewal) for all commercial insurance accounts. All lines, but primarily workers’ compensation.
  • Utilize multiple computer software applications in conjunction with carrier and bureau web-sites, internal systems to include Epic, Zendesk, TRUPAY and Docusign
  • Perform data input.
  • Respond to inbound calls and place outbound calls as required by the business unit. Maintain accurate recording of all internal and external communication (customers/insured’s, insurance partners, payroll offices etc.)
  • Provide necessary documentation to state and federal insurance agencies as well as our insurance partners.
  • Stay abreast of all changes pertaining to various product offerings, regulatory changes, policy changes and insurance industry developments.  
  • Other duties as assigned.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Maintains processing throughput and quality standards at or above minimum standards.
  • Exhibits foundational knowledge of AP Intego insurance portfolio, corresponding systems and internal and external processes.
  • Maintains strong prioritization and organizational skills, and professional communication.
  • Has a AAS/BA/BS in Business, Management, and or a minimum of 1 year of customer service/relevant insurance experience.
  • Is self-motivated to goes above and beyond.
  • Has multi-tasking abilities, versatility, and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment are necessary skills for this position.
  • Has solid record keeping skills
  • Has strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Preferably, is Property & Casualty licensed
