We are looking for a Property and Casualty Insurance Operations Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day workflow and task management of the operational support team. Through direct supervision and one-on-one coaching, you will work to ensure an exceptional customer experience and success for our customers and partners.

Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:

  • Oversee direct reports in all aspects of operational processing; monitor workflow using key performance indicators to ensure that deadlines and accuracy requirements are met.
  • Review recorded calls and tickets to ensure compliance with agency regulations and AP Intego quality service standards.
  • Provide feedback to direct reports and take corrective action when needed with guidance from Manager.
  • Responsible for follow-through and resolution for high-impact processing issues, including but not limited to cancellations, coverage gaps, non-renewals, non-ach transactions and all other key transactions.
  • Provide technical expertise to solve problems regarding internal processing (including EPIC and TRUPAY) for our payroll partners and clients to ensure that world-class service is provided in every situation.
  • Work with Manager to recruit, hire, and evaluate the performance of direct reports in order to ensure all departmental needs are handled appropriately. Counsel and develop staff for personal and professional advancement through career development, internal & external training programs, and other resources.
  • Represent the department on teams and projects to ensure that departmental needs are met and actions of the team are in line with departmental goals.
  • Review key performance indicators and reports to determine if correct metrics are in place and followed.
  • Review and approve direct report higher-risk task processing to ensure that higher-risk decisions are made appropriately.
  • Make recommendations to Operations Manager regarding the development of policies and procedures; identify and implement processing efficiencies.
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget; monitor expenses and make recommendations to Manager for adjustments to approved budget.

Here’s what we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred, or solid experience commensurate with the role
  • Minimum 2-4 years experience in insurance or business operations
  • Minimum 1-2 years of leadership experience; to include directing and supervising a team
  • Property & Casualty License required
  • Solid Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent analytical, organization, time management skills
  • Strong oral and written communication
  • Robust relationship skills
